Battleground Texas in the Wallstreet Journal

If you were at Battleground Texas’s first event, the San Antonio meeting with Jeremy Bird and Julian Castro,  you might have noticed a tall, not-so-Texan-looking guy hanging out at the back of the room.

Turns out that guy, Neil King, is a politics reporter for the Wall Street Journal who’s written some great articles about the shifting tides here in the Lonestar State. His articles are very informative, and they also give some interesting insight about how BGTX and the Texas GOP seem to someone on the outside looking in.

Deep in the Red of Texas, Republicans Fight the Blues is the article he was working on during the first event, and Texas GOP Warns of Invasion of Slimy Dark Arts is about the GOP’s latest response to Battleground Texas.

  1. Bottom line, this shop – located on NE 82nd – is one of the top cigar shops in the entirety
of the Greater-Portland Metro area. The three most dangerous ingredients in cigarette
are nicotine, carbon monoxide and tar. With the hookah it has always been a more
sociable event to be enjoyed with a number of people sitting in a circle and passing around the same pipe.
